Mozart: String Quartet in D minor, K. 421
Mark-Anthony Turnage: Awake
Brahms: Piano Quintet in F minor, Op. 34 (with Daniel Lebhardt, piano)

This is a precious opportunity to hear another concert given by the wonderful Castalian Quartet, whose three-year residency at Oxford University (https://music.web.ox.ac.uk/castalian-string-quartet) has been made possible by the Cosman Keller Trust. Mark-Anthony Turnage's new quartet will be heard alongside the magnificent Brahms Piano Quintet, a work first performed in a private premiere with Clara Schumann playing the piano part and then completed by the composer in Baden-Baden in 1865.

Presented in association with:
Cosman Keller Trust and the University of Oxford's Faculty of Music
