Every year filmmakers from the Ruskin School of Art work with film composers from St Hilda's College and the Faculty of Music to create a series of art film 'shorts' that may in some cases involve live performance. This year there will be eight projects involving Masters composers from the Music Faculty, with the project being convened by Professor Martyn Harry.

The Lark Ascending

25 September
The English Chamber Orchestra and Harriet Mackenzie perform Vivaldi's "Winter" and Classics by Candlelight.

2026 Andrew Chamblin Memorial Concert

29 September
David Halls will play an hour-long programme of organ works by Mendelssohn, Elgar, Bach, Dubois and Boëllmann.

Children’s Music-Making in the Institution

St Cross College South African Township Music Concert

A one-hour programme of South African township music in celebration of Black History Month.
