We are delighted to be welcoming two trailblazing musicians known for their impact on historically-informed performance practices. Katherine Spencer from Orchestra of the Age Enlightenment is joined by trumpeter Alison Balsom for a discussion and show-and-tell about how their lives were and are shaped by being custodians of their instruments; people, events and things that inspired them through challenges, and the ground-breaking work that arose from all this. This event will be chaired by the Director of Performance, Dr Maria Razumovskaya.
