Formed in 2011, the Castalian String Quartet is taking the international chamber music scene by storm. They are the first Hans Keller String Quartet in Residence at the University of Oxford, thanks to The Cosman Keller Art & Music Trust.

Featuring exquisite works through the centuries, the quartet takes you on an extraordinary journey-interweaving the elegance of Haydn's String Quartet in G minor, Op. 20 No. 3, the striking modernity of Kurtág's Six Moments Musicaux, Op. 44, the mysticism of Hildegard von Bingen's Three Antiphons, and concluding with the glorious, triumphant finale of Beethoven's String Quartet No. 9 in C major, Op. 59 No. 3.
