Dr George K. Haggett awarded SMA PhD Thesis Award

Many congratulations to alumnus Dr George K. Haggett (St Hugh's, 2014) who is the recipient of the 2025 PhD Thesis Award given by the Society for Music Analysis. The prize is given for a doctoral thesis which has been completed with all corrections passed, and which features a major component of music analysis. Dr Haggett's thesis is titled 'Medievalism in Contemporary Opera'.
