Violinist and acclaimed chamber musician Daniel Roberts and the Faculty's Dr Maria Razumovskaya lead this interactive workshop to explore the practical and interpretative spaces chamber musicians negotiate. The focus is on the idea of blended tone in ensemble work, and a providing a toolkit of how to achieve this in practice. When does standing out, rather than blending in, become a creative space instead of something to fear as 'too much' or 'too loud'.

This workshop will involve participation from Faculty of Music Students and is open to an audience of students, staff and the general public.
