18:00 TALK & 19:30 CONCERT

It gives us huge pleasure to welcome the American composer, Anna Clyne, who will be working closely with Ensemble Isis throughout the year in preparation for a new work for string quartet, ensemble and live electronics to be performed at the Schwarzman Centre in June 2026.

On this occasion Anna presents a <speaks> talk introducing her work, which will be live-streamed on the JdP Music Building YouTube account. She also introduces 'Red Nines,' a solo work for piano, 'October Rose' for violin duo, and her ensemble piece, 'Fractured Time'.

Intermezzo Chamber Choir Summer Concert

The Intermezzo choir will be singing "Songs of Resistance", including eye-opening music from or about the oppressed and unfortunate in South Africa, Haiti, Ireland, the American south, Soviet-occupied Lithuania, Latvia & Estonia, and of course ancient Babylon.
