Traces: the New Album by SANSARA, Directed by Alumnus Tom Herring

SANSARA, directed by Music Faculty alumnus Tom Herring (Merton College 2013) have just released their latest album Traces, a selection of powerful choral works by British, German and Ukrainian composers.  The programme originates in their White Rose project and grapples with the challenge of finding inner peace during fractured times.

Remembering John Whenham

The Faculty of Music is sorry to learn of the passing of alumnus Professor John Whenham (New College, 1968). Following completion of his DPhil at Oxford, Professor Whenham went on to spend over 40 years at the University of Birmingham. The University of Birmingham has published an obituary celebrating his life and career.
